Hello, CorelDRAW users! 👋
Many of our fonts come with extra OpenType features like swashes, ligatures, and alternate characters. If you’re not sure how to use them in CorelDRAW, don’t worry! This guide will show you two quick and easy methods that work for both Windows and Mac users.

Method 1: Enable the Interactive OpenType Feature

3. That’s it! The Interactive OpenType feature is now enabled.
Tip: If you don’t see the Interactive OpenType icon, make sure your text is selected and you’re using an OpenType font that includes alternate characters.

4. Simply click the alternate character you want to use, and it will be applied instantly.
Method 2: Access Characters Through
the Glyphs Panel
If you want to access not only alternate characters and ligatures, but also punctuation, symbols, and multilingual characters, the Glyphs panel is the best option. It lets you browse every character included in the font.
To open the Glyphs panel, go to Window > Dockers > Glyphs. If you’re using Windows, you can also press Ctrl + F11 or Cmnd + F11 for MAC user .

Using the Glyphs panel is easy. First, choose the font you want to use from the font dropdown in the Glyphs panel. Then, scroll through the available characters and simply double-click the one you want to insert into your text.

Tip: The Glyphs panel gives you access to all available characters in the font, including alternates, ligatures, punctuation, symbols, and multilingual characters.
By following these user-friendly steps, you can seamlessly incorporate special characters and ligatures from our font into your Corel Draw. Or if you have any difficulties just reach us at admin@letterhend.com.
